Cailin has been bred to Kaine!

Trystyn's Crime of Passion "Cailin" has been bred to Ch. Benton Kansas Storm "Kaine". In about  4 weeks we will do an ultrasound to see if she is in fact in whelp.  More information about this upcoming litter here!

Leah flew to her new home

Leah (Motion Picture des Vauriennes) flew to her new home in Madrid last Sunday. She will be trained as a therapy dog and will also be shown. We wish her new owner, Elisa Martinez (Murana Golden Retrievers), good luck with her!

Brussels Dog Show

A great day in Brussels, the last show of a fantastic year! Captain Jack des Vauriennes-Jason won the CC-CACIB and new titles Belgian Winner & Brussels Winner 2011, he also won Best of Breed and was short listed in a strong gundog group.

His half sister Majority Rules des Vauriennes-Yani won best bitch and new titles Belgian Winner and Brussels Winner and his little half brother Caught Red Handed des Vauriennes-Carson made his show debut by going Best Puppy, he did really well at his very first show.

 Special thanks to Jason, Yani and Carson's owners for a lovely day and to Linda van Zandbeek for the great photos of our team!

Kerstshow Wijchen

Captain Jack des Vauriennes-Jason won opnieuw zijn klas met een uitmuntend. Redfrith Hurrikaine Faye JW'09 imp UK moest helaas genoegen nemen met een 2e plaats en voor het eerst in haar leven een zeer goed.

Picture puppies moved to their new homes!

Last weekend 3 of the 5 "Picture puppies" moved to their new homes. We wish their new owners a lot of fun and happiness with these little girls.  Leah (Fern) will fly to her new home in about 10 days and Kizzy (Dawn) will stay here with us. We also uploaded the last portraits of the puppies.

International Show Amsterdam

An excellent but most of all fun day at the Amsterdam Winner.  Captain Jack des Vauriennes-Jason won his class (with excellent).  Redfrith Hurrikaine Faye JW'09 imp UK was placed 4th in open (ex).  Our flying veteran Ch.Dawn over Delaware des Vauriennes- Dawn won her class as well and by doing so she won the Veteran Winner 2011 title. She also won Best Veteran of Breed. Later on in the main ring she was the only spaniel to be shortlisted in an enormous group of top quality veterans. We are very proud of our team once again!

Double SSRK show Frösö Park

Keep to the Code des Vauriennes -Koda won the res CC both days! Well done Koda (and of course her proud owner Tabitha Weiborn)!

International show Bleiswijk

What a fantastic day Bleiswijk! Captain Jack des Vauriennes-Jason won the CC-CACIB (his 7th) and Best of Breed. Redfrith Hurrikaine Faye JW'09 imp UK placed 2nd in open. Jason's grandmother Ch.Dawn over Delaware des Vauriennes- Dawn won the res CC, Best Veteran and 3rd BIS veteran! Dawn got a fantastic critique from Mr. Doedijns:

8,5 year old quality bitch shown in top condition. She has a nice size and excellent proportions. Classic head with excellent muzzle, stop and skull. Lovely expression. Well made front. Well angulated hindquarters. Beautiful body with good top and-underline. Excellent color and condition. Excellent movement. Well presented. Excellent please!

Dawn was expertly handled by Daphne van den Brink. Thanks!!

Chazzy whelped her litter October 9th, she and Luka are the proud parents of 5 healthy puppy girls. Chazzy did a great job and was calm and relaxed, we are so proud of her! You can follow the puppies here: Puppy BLOG (in Dutch) or check out their own page!

International show Zwolle

An "excellent" day for our dogs: Captain Jack des Vauriennes-Jason won intermediate, Catching Air des Vauriennes-Chelsea won baby class, Ch. Dawn over Delaware des Vauriennes- Dawn won Best Veteran and Redfrith Hurrikaine Faye JW'09 imp UK placed 2nd in open.

International show Maastricht

 Captain Jack des Vauriennes-Jason won the CC-CACIB & Best of Breed! We are very proud of our pirate once again.

His baby "sister" Catching Air des Vauriennes-Chelsea made her show debut winning Best Baby and she was also short listed for BIS baby.

Reunion of our C-litter

Reunion of our C-litter, even though the weather forecast was not in our favor we were pretty lucky. With just a few drops of rain and even some sunshine it was pretty nice. The puppies had a great time together. We thank everyone for coming, it was really nice to see all (except for our Spanish Tass of course) of them again.

Puppy news from Poland!

We're expecting puppies!

Chazzy (Ch. Wild Ride des Vauriennes GW'11 BW'10) is in whelp! Chazzy's litter is due around October 10th. Her puppies are by Sh Ch Glenbrows Picture This JW ShCM "Luka", winner of the championship club show in the UK last weekend. Thanks a million to Tim & Honor for letting us use their wonderful dog!

European Winner Show 2011

Fantastic results for our kennel at the European Winner show 2011.  Captain Jack des Vauriennes-Jason won junior class and the title (FCI Centenary) European Junior Winner 2011 and Crufts qualification, he didn't stop there he went on to win the reserve CC and Best Junior in Breed!

Dawn was not shortlisted in the main ring, but Jason was. Jason was among the 6 best junior dogs in group 8!

Show 2x Gotland, Sweden

Great news from Sweden! Hoist the Colours des Vauriennes-Holly went to the Int Gotland Dog show. On Saturday she won the RCC & RCACIB and Sunday the CC, CACIB & Best of Breed!

Way to go Holly! Congratulations to her proud owners Mia & Malin!

Show news from Sweden and Norway

Hoist the Colours des Vauriennes-Holly, has been very busy! Just last week she won the reserve CC-CACIB in  Koping and this week she won the reserve CC-CACIB again in Ransater. The 2nd day she won her class with CQ.  Well done Holly and congrats Mia & Malin!

In Norway  Kaine's son, Churnwood Beat the Box, finished his Norwegian Championship title. He did it in style by winning Best of Breed and a 4th place in the group! A hearty congratulations to his proud owners Monica and Jan-Vidar and of course his breeders Jan and Lotte (kennel Churnwood, DK).

The C puppies moved to their new homes in the last couple of weeks. Tass was the last one to leave, he flew to his new home in Spain last week. All of the puppies are doing really well in their new homes and everyone is happy with their new puppy!

INT show Echt

Another long but fun and succesful day! Captain Jack des Vauriennes GW'11 NJK'11-Jason was shown in intermediate for the first time. At just 15 months of age he went on to win his 1st CACIB, 5th CC and went Best of Breed.

His half sister  Ch. Wild Ride des Vauriennes GW'11 BW'10- Chazzy won the reserve CAC-CACIB and Trystyn's Crime of Passion NJK'11-Cailin got a nice excellent 2nd.

Best Veteran in Show AGAIN!!!

After that it was Jason's turn to go in the group, he had so much fun and went all the way to a Group 3rd!

We are incredibly proud of our team!

We were also happy to see Beamer & Faye at the show, a special thanks to their owners for visiting us at the show.

Spaniel Speciatly St Truiden

A long but successful day in St Truiden. Finnish judge Elena Ruskovaara awarded  Majority Rules des Vauriennes-Yani the bitch CC and Best of Breed. Her sister Ch. Wild Ride des Vauriennes GW'11 BW'10- Chazzy got Ex 2.  Ch. Dawn over Delaware des Vauriennes-Dawn won Best Veteran and once again Best Veteran in Show!!

C puppies are leaving for their new homes...

The first puppies have already left for their new homes, soon the others will follow. We wish everyone best of luck with their new puppy!

INT show Arnhem

Two new titles for our Ch. Dawn over Delaware des Vauriennes-Dawn, she finished both her Dutch Champion title and Dutch Veteran Champion title at this show. Unfortunately this show did not have a BIS veteran competition.

The judging was...ehm...well interesting is probably the right word.  Captain Jack des Vauriennes GW'11 NJK'11-Jason was not placed in junior class, fortunately Eileen's son Ollie made up for it by winning the Junior CC & reserve CC. Again handled by Jan, they sure are a good team!  Trystyn's Crime of Passion NJK'11-Cailin was shown in intermediate for the first time and was placed 3rd.

Show news...

First of all fantastic news from Sweden! Hoist the Colours des Vauriennes-Holly, won the CC and BOS in Sundsvall, Sweden! A hearty congratulations to Mia & Malin!

Last Thursday we went to an open show where breed specialist Gerda Groeneweg judged the breed. Captain Jack des Vauriennes GW'11 NJK'11-Jason won bred by and best dog.  Trystyn's Crime of Passion NJK'11-Cailin was first in junior class.

 Ch. Dawn over Delaware des Vauriennes-Dawn showed her herself to Best in Show veteran again!

Ch. Wild Ride des Vauriennes GW'11 BW'10- Chazzy won best bitch, best of breed and lovely 2nd place in the group!

On Saturday there was a show held by KC Dordrecht where we train with all of our dogs, I (Lidewij) was one of the judges for the crossbreeds, neutered purebreds etc. while my dad (Jan) handled a son of  Eileen. He and Ollie made it all the way to reserve Best in Show!  A hearty congratulations to his proud owners Renee & Niels!

Yani wins first place!

Today we received a very happy e-mail from Belgium. Yani won 1st place in an obedience competion! Well done!!

WSSC Fun day 2011

Our Dawn-litter was invited for their litter evaluation. Both parents and there kids Jonah Saar, Mira, Pip and Megan were present. It was really nice to see all of them again!

INT show Oss

Captain Jack des Vauriennes GW'11-Jason won junior class thus finishing his Dutch Junior Champion title. He then went on to win the CC, his fourth! At 14 months of age Jason has already won all the points needed for his Dutch Champion title but is still too young to claim it.

Our American girl Trystyn's Crime of Passion NJK'11-Cailin got a lovely 3rd place in a big junior class.

Ch. Wild Ride des Vauriennes GW'11 BW'10- Chazzy won the CC-CACIB again, she then beat her half brother Jason in the challenge for Best of Breed and was also shortlisted in the group.

Ch. Dawn over Delaware des Vauriennes-Dawn once again had a great time out in the ring and won Best Veteran.  Later on in the main ring she was expertly handled by Naomi van Mourik and the judge Mr. Tomas Gomez (USA) awarded our Dawn Best Veteran in Show! With this win she is also qualified for the Dutch Top Dog of the Year Show!

We are so incredibly proud of our dogs!

HD uitslag James

Pirates Code des Vauriennes-James, has been x-rayed and was scored with B hips. Congratulations to his proud owner José!

Four little Pirates have been x-rayed so far with good results, we are very happy with this news and grateful to their owners for getting these tests done.

Koda's hip score and more..

Keep to the Code des Vauriennes -Koda, has been x-rayed and was scored with A-B hips and her elbows were ua (normal). Congratulations to  Tabitha Weiborn, kennel Ta Wei's!

Dawn's debut in veteran class

Ch. Dawn over Delaware des Vauriennes-Dawn had so much fun in the show ring, she won her first vet CC and BOB vet and had got a lovely critique :-)

Both Captain Jack des Vauriennes GW'11-Jason and Trystyn's Crime of Passion-Cailin had to settle for a second place in junior this time and Majority Rules des Vauriennes- Yani was unplaced in open. We took some nice photos of Jason and Yani:

Dawn celebrates her 8th birthday today, making her the 2nd veteran in our household the other one being her daddy Kaine.

Katie & Jona are the proud parents of 2 boys and 5 girls born May 1st. All is well so far, we will add photos to their page every week.

Captain Jack des Vauriennes GW'11-Jason, went to the ophthalmologist to have his eyes checked. All was clear including gonio! We also received his hip score: perfect A hips! We are so happy with this news and would like to congratulate his proud owners Linda & Nicky!

Kaine went to the Cryolab...

We took Ch. Benton Kansas Storm-Kaine for a visit to the Cryolab last week, we were there to collect and freeze his semen. Today we received the official results, his semen is still of excellent quality before and after freezing. We are very happy with this news and hope to welcome a puppy sired by Kaine in 10 years or so.

Puppy nieuws!

In Australia Aus Ch Forget Me Not des Vauriennes-Kao, whelped 8 healthy puppies, 2 boys and 6 girls. Proud sire is Aus Grand Ch Shandwick Raffles. Congratulations to Donna Bruckner, kennel Pintettea

We also received word that Fly North des Vauriennes-Viggo, is going to be a daddy for the very first time. The expecting mom is Copper Red's Annie, her puppies are due around May 14th at kennel Copper Red's (Germany) owned by Michaela Friedrichs. We congratulate all concerned with this lovely news!

Meanwhile our own Chelsea Michigama des Vauriennes-Katie, is expecting her puppies in just 3 weeks. She is doing really well and we can't wait to find out what she has been hiding in her tummy :-)

Another fantastic day, this time Hazerswoude!

Captain Jack des Vauriennes-Jason wins junior class and thus his 2nd  JCC, but he also won the CC !  Trystyn's Crime of Passion-Cailin also won junior class!

Wild Ride des Vauriennes- Chazzy wins the bitch CC-CACIB and is now a Dutch Champion!

Jason beat his half sister in the challenge for Best of Breed and went all the way to a Group 2nd, qualifying him for the Dutch Top Dog of the Year show!!!

INT show Groningen

What an AMAZING day!

Captain Jack des Vauriennes-Jason wins junior class and his first JCC, CC and Groningen Winner title. Trystyn's Crime of Passion-Cailin  wins another big junior class and finished her Dutch Junior Champion title.

Wild Ride des Vauriennes- Chazzy wins the CC-CACIB, Groningen Winner title, BOB and a Group 3rd. With this group placement she is qualified for the Dutch Top Dog of the Year show 2011!!

Chazzy only needs one more CC for her Dutch & International title.

Both Jason and  Chazzy are kids of our lovely Katie (Chelsea Michigama dV), we hope to welcome another lovely, happy litter from her in May!

A lovely day in Hoogstraten, Wild Ride des Vauriennes- Chazzy wins the CC-CACIB, and her sister Majority Rules des Vauriennes- Yani wins the reserve CC-CACIB.

Both Trystyn's Crime of Passion-Cailin  and Captain Jack des Vauriennes-Jason win junior class. Jason beats Cailin in the challenge for Best Junior!

Mini Biddi

Kaine and Iddi Biddi are the proud parents of one little princess: Mini Biddi.

She is doing very well so far, we wish her breeder Sandy Holmes best of luck with this little girl!

SSRK show Mjolby

Hoist the Colours des Vauriennes- Holly, also made her debut in junior class, she was placed 2nd with excellent! Well done to Holly and of course Mia & Malin. 

INT Show Eindhoven

Cailin (Trystyn's Crime of Passion) wins junior class and thus her 2nd JCC, she then went on to win the reserve CC! We are very proud of our little girl!

Jason-Captain Jack des Vauriennes was the youngest dog in junior class but also won it, unfortunately the whole class got a vg. Nevertheless we are very proud of this young man!

Show Waalwijk

The pirate brothers Jason-Captain Jack des Vauriennes & James- Pirates Code des Vauriennes won 1st and 2nd place (EX) and their nephew Viggo- Fly North des Vauriennes EX 2 behind the pirates' daddy Sparrow. Congratulations to their proud owners, the photo shows daddy Sparrow (in the middle) with his 2 sons.

A good start of the year!

 

The year has just begun and we already received some wonderful news,  we finally received Cailin's  (Trystyn's Crime of Passion) hipscore: A hips!

We also received good news from the States,  Kaine (Ch. Benton Kansas Storm) is going to be a daddy again! Cailin's mommy  Ch. Trystyn's State Trooper is in whelp and her puppies are due February 4th, we are all hoping for a lovely, healthy litter.
